The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2011 was awarded jointly to Thomas J. Sargent and Christopher A. Sims "for their empirical research on cause and effect in the macroeconomy"
The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel
In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank (Sweden's central bank) established the Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, founder of the Nobel Prize. The Prize is based on a donation received by the Foundation in 1968 from Sveriges Riksbank on the occasion of the Bank's 300th anniversary. The first Prize in Economic Sciences was awarded to Ragnar Frisch and Jan Tinbergen in 1969.

The topics for the II Semester assignment/Project for F Y B A/B Com class students are as follows.

1. Aviation Industry with particular reference to Kingfisher airlines.

Points to be covered- Brief introduction to aviation Industry- firms under aviation industry- form of market they are operating- loss/profit making firms- brief of Kingfisher Airlines- problems faced by the airlines- some solutions discussed by experts-your own suggestion.

2. Objectives of a firm:

Points to be covered: meaning of firm- objectives listed- explain each objective- mention some objectives of few prominent firms.

3. Features of monopolistic competition:

Points to be covered- introduction to various forms of markets- meaning of Monopolistic competition- explain each feature with real case examples.

Pictures of products can be pasted to high light the differentiation of products

4. Features of Oligopoly:

Points to be covered- introduction to various forms of markets- meaning of Oligopoly- explain each feature with real case examples.
